My name is Sadianne Abernathy, welcome to the tangible index of my mind, heart and soul. I am a Daughter of God, Wife, Mother, Wisconsin Wedding Officiant, Homemaker, Antique Collector, Jewelry Artisan, Reader, Writer, Lover – the list goes on. My passions have never been able to fit into one category or description – so here, I’m able to organize pieces of it all. I’ve always preferred to be boundless, forever evolving, always creating, open to what calls me near – depending on the day. While I am a believer in many things, I’ve always believed in connection being one of the key components of living. So whether we connect personally, or enjoy each other’s existence in silence, either are beautiful and both are recognized. So with that being said, I’m happy you’re here.
In this valley beneath the open sky, I found a love I never knew existed. I found that forever can also exist within a place, not just a person. Having moved over fifteen times in my life, I often wondered if I would ever find a place I’d remain. The hills that roll and gallop in every direction greet me each morning with their delicate embrace. I thank them for welcoming me each day as beautifully as they did from the first time I witnessed them. It’s in the countryside that I’ve always felt close to God’s intentions for my life. Just as people can capture your heart, I believe places can do the same. You come to realize they’ve always belonged to you, and if you’re meant to – you can put down roots. This is where I will raise my children, in a place where they can run as wild as the creeks and rivers nearby. I will witness them discover their own pathways between the pines. Life here is simple, and its within this simplicity where true and slow romance lives for me. There is space for thought, for observation, and creation. As Elsie de Wolfe once said, “I want to make everything around me beautiful — that will be my life.” I too will make everything around me beautiful. From the environment I create within my home, to the conversations I share and the connections I build, nothing will be less than a soulful experience. Each encounter and every moment will be a reflection and collection of the beauty I hope to bring into this world.
